Troubleshooting can be a difficult skill to master if you do not understand the correct approach. Just digging through logs or configuration files may help resolve simple issues, but understanding how to find the root cause of an issue is where the real skill comes. In this chapter, we will look at how a problem should be looked at, how the problem should be analyzed, and finally how you should act on the information you have seen.
