Power and Electricity

Power can be one of the most difficult parts to understand when setting up a sound system. Understanding just the very basics of how power is supplied and distributed around the system is very important and can help find a quick solution to any sort of problem. At this point, we have already discussed the basics of electronics, which makes the jump to power a fairly simple one. The parameters are exactly the same: Electrons move, causing things to light up and make noises.

We have discussed most of the basic physics in previous chapters, but we should explain a couple more fundamental issues before we get to anything else.
