Using social sites: Facebook and Renren
Abstract:
This chapter discusses Facebook. Facebook is one of the current social media favored by libraries for sharing information with their local communities for at least three reasons: technological capability, innovative durability, and a great number of users. In essence, it is a social utility that connects people with friends, people with their communities, and public institutions with their constituencies.
