5. Logistics Parties

The importance of logistics outsourcing has recently been very uprising in today’s complex logistics transactions. Logistics parties, in its broadest term, is a growing means in outsourcing logistics activities and there has been considerable research in this field. This chapter is intended to explore all possible issues regarding all types of logistics parties which have been investigated in previous related works, with emphasis on both conceptual and mathematical issues. Hopefully, this work would address the future trends of research toward logistics parties.
