Creating, Modifying, and Troubleshooting Views

Views are design elements that present a sorted and/or categorized list of documents and serve as the primary way to access data in a Notes database. Keep in mind that every database must have a minimum of one view, known as the default view. A view may display all documents in the database, or it may use a selection formula to select a subset of the documents. Each row in a view represents one document in the database and users can double-click that row to open the underlying document. View types are summarized in Table 4.7.
