Ponder this: How many career paths do they see?
You’re inundated with goals. You have performance goals for yourself—and for your employees. You (and they) also have life goals, financial goals, athletic goals, spiritual goals, balance goals, maybe even weight-loss goals!
Here, we’ll be focusing on career-related goals. You’ve no doubt set goals for your learning, your growth, and your success at work. Have you linked arm in arm with your treasured, talented people to set these kinds of goals?
Remember to include everyone in the adventure: differently abled, younger or older, people of color, differently gendered, frontline to senior-level workers. Keep an open mind as you discuss options to help them excel ...
