Ponder this: What do they really value most?

Values define what we consider to be important. They are the standards for measuring our bottom-line needs. And more than anything, they are the engine for our actions. They help us decide how much of ourselves we bring to our work and whether we should stay—or leave for a job that delivers on what matters most.

Values are unique to you, and they are unique to every one of your talented people. How will you know if those on your team are getting what they value most? And what might you do with the information you receive?
