Relaying
Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) considers relaying for cost-effective throughput enhancement and coverage extension. Relaying is deployed in LTE-A as a tool to improve coverage for high data rates, group mobility, temporary network deployment, and cell-edge throughput, and/or to provide coverage in new areas.
