The Mac OS 9 Installer
Mac OS 9 comes with an installer application that makes software installation easy. Simply launch the installer and follow the instructions that appear on screen to select a destination disk, learn more about the software, agree to a license agreement, and select the Mac OS 9 components you want installed. The installer builds the System and Finder files for your computer and copies the software you specified to your hard disk.
The Mac OS 9 installer can perform two types of installations:
Standard Installation lets you select the Mac OS 9 components you want installed. The installer copies all standard parts of each selected component to your hard disk.
