Personal Web Sharing
Personal Web Sharing is a feature of Mac OS that enables you to create your own Web server. With it, you can use Web pages to share information with others on your network.
Here's how it works. First create one or more Web pages with the information that you want to share. Place them in a folder on your hard disk. Then use the Web Sharing control panel (Figure 63) to specify the Web folder and home page, set privileges, and enable Web sharing. When another network user uses his Web browser to open your IP address, the home page you specified appears.
