The Stocks Channel

Sherlock’s Stocks channel lets you get stock quotes, news headlines and stories, and charts for stocks. You enter the company name or ticker symbol and put Sherlock to work. It retrieves the information and displays it in the Stocks window.

✓ Tip

  • Although the stock quotes are delayed 15 minutes, they are constantly updated as long as the Stocks window is open.

To look up stock information for a company

1.
Open the Stocks channel. Sherlock connects to the Internet and retrieves information about the last companies you looked up, which it displays in its window (Figure 16).
