Choose which printers appear in the Print dialog box
1. | Make sure your printer is turned on and tightly connected to your Mac with the proper cables. |
2. | Go to the Apple menu and choose “System Preferences….” |

4. | If you see the name of your printer in the list on the left, but it has no checkmark next to its name, check its box. Then close the preferences and try to print. |
5. | If you don't see the name of your printer in the list on the left, click the + button. ... |
Single-click on the “Print & Fax” icon to get the pane shown below.
