2. Set Up Lion
Apple is doing something revolutionary with the release of Lion: The software is available only as a download from the Mac App Store. This approach is convenient—you can upgrade in the middle of the night in your pajamas—but is also quite a change from the past, when you could insert a DVD and update from there.
