MIXING A ROCK SONG
The purpose of mixing a song is to balance all of the separately recorded elements and to mix them into a cohesive whole. There probably are as many ways to mix a song as there are people to mix it.
In this section we'll put some of the things you've learned so far to the test by using the track volume and panning controls, track volume curves, setting effects, using the master track effects and volume curve, setting the end of song marker, and setting the final output levels.
