MAKING AN MP3 FILE
Take a look at the file size of the Bounced.aif file—it's huge. Even a short song can be several megs in size. A typical 5-minute AIFF song will take up about 45MB of drive space.
Select the song in iTunes and select File 
Get Info. You will get a window like Figure 7.3. It shows you a variety of information about the song.
