Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the most commonly used recommendation system methods from Collaborative Filtering and content-based filtering to two simple hybrid algorithms. Note also that in the literature are present modal recommendation systems in which different data (user gender, demographics, views, locations, devices, and so on) are incorporated in to the same algorithm. These methods are more advanced and more different data is needed to use them.

In Chapter 7, Movie Recommendation System Web Application, we will implement a web recommendation system using the methods discussed in this chapter, but before that we will present the Django framework to build web applications in Chapter 6, Getting Started with Django.
