Notes on the Exercises

While reading the book, the reader is stimulated to retrace and rediscover main principles and results. The acquisition of new topics challenges the reader to complement some missing pieces to compose the final puzzle. This is proposed by exercises at the end of each section that are designed for self-study as well as for classroom study.
