It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Supervised Learning
Die Daten sind nun vorverarbeitet, und wir überlegen, was wir eigentlich damit machen wollen.
Mit Supervised Learning (überwachtem Lernen) bezeichnet man ein vom Menschen gesteuertes Lernen. Dabei wird ein System mit bekannten Daten trainiert, und dieses Wissen wird dann auf bisher nicht bekannte Daten angewendet. Insbesondere soll eine mathematische Funktion gelernt werden, die Features als Eingabe bekommt und die entsprechenden Labels als Ausgabe haben soll. Die Parameter dieser Funktion sollen so optimiert werden, dass die bekannten Daten möglichst gut wiedergegeben werden, dass aber auch gleichzeitig die Labels von neuen Daten vorhergesagt werden können.
