Specifying Font Color
When you change the background color of a page, as you did in the first exercise of this lesson, you might also need to change the color of the text to avoid viewing problems. Black text doesn’t display on a black background, for example. When choosing a color scheme for your document, try to select combinations of colors that work well together and have enough contrast between them. Colors that are too similar to each other can be very hard to view, as can complementary colors, especially on a computer screen. In the following steps, you’ll change the default font color in the index.html document.
