Chapter 3. Defining a Web Site
Many people think of Web design in terms simply of creating a Web page. However, a Web site is a fundamental part of a Web page. A Web site allows pages to connect to each other with links. It makes it possible to embed images or other nontext content in pages. Your Web site can include (usually one, but sometimes more) style sheet files that control the formatting of multiple pages across a site.
