Chapter 1. About Dynamic Content

HTML is a perfectly good way to create static Web pages—pages with content that doesn’t change very often. But static pages aren’t flexible or easily updated. Dreamweaver MX allows you to create pages that are dynamic—their content can vary based on information the user provides, on criteria that you specify ahead of time, or even on the time of day. Examples of dynamic pages in action include search result pages, online shopping carts, and daily publications like online newspapers.
