Chapter 16. Adding Video

Another way to bring realism to your Flash creations is to add video. Macromedia Flash MX 2004 allows you to embed video clips for playback directly in Flash Player. In addition, you have the option of linking video clips to your movie during authoring and then exporting the movie to QuickTime, where all the Flash animation takes place on a separate track from the video. And for advanced ActionScripters, there’s the option to link to external Flash video (.flv) files during playback of your movie.
