You’re busy. You may rely on a planner, random scraps of paper, or your memory to keep track of obligations, appointments, and commitments. Your Mac comes with an alternative: Calendar, which is Apple’s calendar application. Calendar helps you track appointments and reminds you of tasks or deadlines.
In this chapter, first we introduce the Calendar interface. Then we show you how to create calendars and access them from different sources. Next, we explain how to put events (what Calendar calls anything such as an appointment, a birthday, or whatever else that requires a time/date reference) on your calendar(s).
