It’s easy to think of your Mac as a tool for getting things done. And it’s certainly true that you can use a Mac to write reports, build budgets, and produce presentations. These are standard-issue tasks in our workaday world. But if you use your Mac only to take care of business, you’re missing out on a world of Mac-based entertainment and information.

For example, macOS comes with a Podcasts app that enables you to search for, follow, listen to, and manage podcasts. Your Mac also hosts the News app, which gives you access to a wide variety of news sources and stories. Finally, macOS also offers the TV app, which you can use to watch TV series and episodes right from the comfort of your Mac monitor.
