Abstract

This chapter reports recent advancements in cylindrical biphase magnetic systems with dimensions ranging from a few nanometers to several tens of microns. We cover the most common processes involved in the preparation of biphase wire systems. Details of appropriate treatments to be used during growth or after preparation are given, with the aim of optimizing the magnetic anisotropy of the systems.
