Magnetic microwires in microwave applications

Abstract

High-frequency properties of magnetic microwires in glass coating and related applications are discussed. In ferromagnetic wires with a spiral type of magnetic anisotropy, the permeability spectra are very wide, and the permeability values may substantially differ from unity in the GHz frequency band.
