Chapter 8. SensorTag Remote

The SensorTag Development Kit is a piece of hardware from Texas Instruments built to showcase TI’s Bluetooth Low Energy chip. The SDK is intended for developing wireless sensor applications. The SensorTag contains a number of sensors, including temperature, humidity, pressure, accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer. It also includes two buttons. The original version was the CC2541 SensorTag Development Kit. In 2015, TI introduced a next generation of the SDK called the CC2650 SensorTag.

This project uses the buttons on the SensorTag. When a button is pressed, a program on your computer will receive a Bluetooth notification and act as if someone pressed the left or right arrow key on the keyboard. You can use this ...
