Very rarely, I would even go so far as to say never, have I ever delivered a change which was exactly the change that was defined at the very start of the change.
To be clear, I have delivered extremely successful change, and all of the outcomes and changes in behaviour that were needed happened. But they weren’t exactly what was written down at the start. Throughout this book there are lots of frameworks and ideas to take change, and make it granular and achievable, but there is one element which can increase the likelihood of success significantly.
