THE INSIDER’S GUIDE TO PHOTOGRAPHY TERMS
Every discipline has its own insider’s language, and photography is no different. Photographers have a lexicon of terms to describe techniques, gear, and accessories, and this can make outsiders feel confused. Here is a list of words and terms that will allow you to understand what other photographers are talking about.
Bokeh (Boke-uh): This term refers to the out-of-focus areas in a photo (especially when using a very shallow depth of field).
