» Split rings, 1" diameter (2)

» Barrel swivel, large available where fishing tackle is sold

» Leather, 3½"×3½" piece

» Soft leather, ½"×8" strip

» Acrylic adhesive/solvent

» Glue

» Jigsaw Use an acrylic cutting blade, or a carbide-tipped blade with fine teeth and little or no set.

» Hot air gun for paint stripping

» Electric drill with 1/8" bit

» Vise
