N55, a conceptual group from Denmark, creates functional art for living, breathing, and growing.
MAKING PUBLIC SPACES INHABITABLE and useful to anybody is the goal of N55, an artistic effort based in Denmark that has created functional art for over a decade. N55 creates inexpensive, modular, portable structures. Installations have included floating platforms and living structures, urban-farming plant modules and floating fish farms, and even a mobile bar. At the core of N55’s values is the idea of art as part of everyday life.
