Robert Rausch (cover photography) is “addicted to triathlons” and lives on a farm in Alabama with his four kids, creeks, ponds, cats, dogs, chickens, cows, gardens, orchards, and bees (“I love my bees”). For his first photography job, he hand-colored his prints after finding out the client wanted color, not black and white. He’s fond of the color blue (today), makes a mean gravy with biscuits, and is the artistic director for Serenbe, a sustainable living community.
