RULE 48 Break the Walls of the Aquarium
Did you know that if you place a baby shark in a glass cage that’s not large enough to accommodate a full-grown shark, the shark will not grow to full size? That artificially imposed barrier will affect the shark’s internal development process, and the animal will actually stop growing before it reaches the limits imposed by its surroundings.
I think all of us are in danger of surrounding ourselves with artificial barriers that can keep us from achieving at peak levels. Like the shark, we may bump up against an invisible wall or two … and stop growing.
