Budgeting
Generally the producer and the production manager will have decided upon a design budget as part of the production budget. The requirements of the designer are to work strictly within this budget. It is unlikely that the budget will be too high; no production manager is going to give money away! It is more likely that it will be too low, but it can be renegotiated if the designer has worked efficiently and can show the necessity of their requirements.
