I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Glossary
Acetone commonly used for removing nail varnish, but also used for cleaning hair lace; never used directly on skin; available from chemists.
Adhesive different types are used for sticking wig hair lace, eyelashes, prosthetics, etc.; available from theatrical suppliers and chemists.
Alginate mixed into a jelly-like substance used for making life casts; available from dental suppliers.
Aquacolour a water-soluble compressed powder foundation used in character make-up.
Artificial eyelashes for extra emphasis on the eyes; available in different lengths and thicknesses; can be trimmed; applied with adhesive.
Backcombing a technique used to make hair appear fuller than it is.
Bald caps specially made plastic caps to simulate a bald head.
