Meet the Wave Makers
This is my chance to introduce all of the Wave Makers that I have featured throughout the book. All were “nominated” by at least one trusted colleague because of admiration for how they started their wave. After receiving many recommendations and considering my own, I selected this diverse group to study and research in more detail. I added their stories to my experiences and to conversations with countless others not featured in the book.
This chapter shares who they are, their wave, why they are inspiring, and one of their many memorable comments. Their stories are woven throughout the book so that you can learn what they did and why they did it, in the hope that their experiences will be instructive for your wave.
