It takes a village to make a movie. In addition to all the people who search out material or write the script, and all those who play a role in the decision of whether or not to finance a film, and those who represent the people involved in all of the above, there are the people who actually physically make the movie.

Because of the mesh of creative, technical, and financial elements involved, making a film has always been a collaborative process.
