I used to come home from my full-time engineering day job on Friday evenings and flop down on the couch, worn out and depressed. An entire week would have gone by and it wasn’t until the end of the week that I’d have space in my head to realize that I hadn’t had the time or head space to get into my home workshop to design and build something of my own.
What I really wanted to do was make my own projects. And I’m greedy, not wanting just evenings and weekends, I wanted freedom to work on projects all the time. This is the story of how I got that lifestyle.
