Chapter 2. Collecting Project Content

I like collecting all of my audio and video clips and pictures—the project assets, or content—before I start serious editing, and that's what you'll do here. You'll set up and capture—or transfer—video from a DV camera, and import audio files and digital photos. You'll also learn to manage these collections in Premiere Elements' Collections pane.

I'm assuming that you've already shot your video and that you may have some digital photographs and music files already stored on your computer that you want to use to create a slide show to include with your video footage. You'll be getting these assets into Premiere Elements in this chapter and then working with them to create your project in the rest of this book. ...
