Epilogue

Although the characters in this book are drawn from real life, happy endings are often elusive. In a novel, it is acceptable to introduce elements of luck and coincidence that help to illustrate some of the underlying ideas, but depending on these for success on real projects is risky. Often, the necessary support does not come together in the right time and place, and the rarity of real life characters like Stu Barnes is remarkable. Organizations often lack the will, as much or more so, than the tools and techniques required to succeed.

Meyers Norris Penny Consulting has developed a number of tools to help organizations Make It Happen, and individuals develop the Making It Happen skill-set. These include specific training programs, specialized consulting services, as well as tools for supporting the planning process.
