The Practice of Linear Structure
Now that you understand the theory behind the decisions you make about linear media structure, it’s time to look at the techniques of editing used in media production. There are many editing methods. Some are medium specific; some are older techniques that are being replaced by new ones. However, some basic concepts apply to all methods.
