Introduction

The basic model of strategy execution or implementation presented in Chapter 2 has guided all discussions in subsequent chapters. Chapter 2, however, did add an element to the basic model that did not appear in the original version of this book: namely, the possible contribution of project management to the process of making strategy work. The introduction of project management in no way alters the impact and importance of other variables or decisions in the basic model.
