Now I’m going to tell you how you can be a success like Bill Plympton.
There are certainly many ways to be successful in the animation business, and mine isn’t the only way, but I believe that a lot of my ideas are not only helpful but hopefully also inspirational, and that they can help you on the way to a big career in cartoons.
What I want to do is show you my procedure for making a film. It’s basically the same for a short as it is for a feature. I see three major steps in filmmaking: raising the money, making the film, and selling the film.
