The purpose of this phase is to perform detailed planning of the technical architecture and conversion. The results from the prepare phase of assessment on custom code are used to develop a plan to adjust the custom code and also implement SAP best practices wherever applicable. The explore phase facilitates data volume management so as to lower the hardware resources. In this phase, we also identify the functional quick wins and SAP S/4HANA functionality in scope of the conversion project. We will execute a conversion of the sandbox environment in this phase. By the end of this phase, the functional and technical conversion is fully planned and is ready to be realized.
