Managing diversity
Every organization has a Workplace Equal Opportunities policy, and several pages of documentation to explain workplace equality and the organization's commitment to ensure that no one is treated unfairly on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, mental or physical disability, gender, marital status, and many more criteria. This policy document, like many others, is likely to be not read by most of the employees. They know they have to respect diversity, but unlikely to spend half a day reading through the policy.
