Instructional Messages: Training Manuals and Instructions

Instructional manuals tend to be considered outside of the content of managerial communication. However, training materials, including manuals and hands-on training programs, are a vital form of managerial communication. Not only do they help employees understand how to perform particular tasks, they also facilitate uniformity in performance, assuring efficiencies.
