Managerial forensics is the rigorous application of managerial processes to solving business problems. It is about critically evaluating the framework, system, and dynamics of a business with the right set of tools that will allow managers to better understand and design policies and guide decisions to bring about effective changes. Managerial forensics is grounded in fact and the methodical pursuit of answers. It is not a postoperative critique or an autopsy as to what led to the death of a business.
