Let me make a prediction. If you follow the recommendations regarding awareness, understanding, and participation, you will be busy. Depending on the project you work on, you may be answering questions at a frenetic pace like a child playing a game of whack-a-mole. Or you might find yourself perpetually squelching the rumor of the day, playing the role of the fictional Dutch boy who stuck his finger in the dike to stop the leak. It’s not uncommon for change management practitioners to feel like they are whack-a-mole-ing and plugging a dike simultaneously!
