A Mobile Device Management (MDM) service gives administrators the ability to remotely manage Apple devices. The administrative flexibility afforded by over-the-air (OTA) management puts MDM services at the center of most deployment plans. Beyond pushing configuration profiles, most MDM services can also remotely collect device information and send various management tasks such as remote lock and wipe.
