Barbara White Bryson, Ed.D. FAIA, is an architect, owner, and educator. She is currently Associate Dean for Research and Academic Affairs at the University of Arizona's College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, and Managing Principal of the DesignIntelligence/Design Futures Council DI/Strategic Advisors consultancy. Her professional design experience includes work with Rice University and Spillis Candela (now AECOM). She is co-author of The Owner's Dilemma: Driving Success and Innovation in the Design and Construction Industry. Her challenges to owners, architects, and educators are timely.
